Many of my students come from poverty and difficult home situations but they are hungry to change their situation. They recognize that school is the place to start. A large percentage of our student population come to us below grade level and with English as their second language. My school serves this population of students and we work to build great relationships with our students and their families. We teach using any methods necessary to reach our students. Our school is small and has an extended school day. The longer day allows us to give the extra tutoring and time needed to boost our students confidence and skills so they can become successful learners.
