I teach Kindergarten in a school that has over 90% of students who qualify for free and reduced price lunch and are economically disadvantaged. Our school is trying to focus in giving students more exposure to technology so that they may keep up with our changing times. All of my students are between the ages of 5 to 6 and are given instruction in their native language of Spanish but with support in obtaining the English language as well to make fully functioning BILINGUAL students.
