I teach at a Title 1 school, which means that a high percentage of our students come from low-income families. 80% of our students live at or below the poverty line. The students in our school come from 26 different countries. The students in my class are eager learners. They try extremely hard even with their limited English abilities and low socioeconomic backgrounds.
