I teach in a low income, title I school where 89% of students are receiving free/reduced lunch. Students are often from blended homes. They come to school to learn and win your hearts. They are loving, and caring, but sometimes lack the motivation. The children hear often experience things that I myself cannot imagine, things are pretty tough for most of them. Despite all the set backs and disappointments they have faced they are still children and want to be cared for and loved. I've been teaching for four years and I cannot think of any other thing I rather do than teach! The children just win your heart from day one!
