There currently is a shortage of people with the necessary technology skills needed to fill technology related jobs. This shortage is only expected to grow. In my class I try to prepare students for these types of jobs even though many of these jobs do not yet existed today. To help my students with these skills I would like to introduce them to Drone technology. I feel that part of my job is to get students interested in pursuing careers in technology. One way to hook them on technology is to peak their interest with something that is fun to use. To do that I will teach them how to fly a drone. Once they are hooked on that, they be excited to learn not only how to fly a drone but how a drone works and the FAA regulations that must be followed.
