My students come from a good neighborhood, but have a relatively low income level. Many of them don't have the things at home that we take for granted like books and art supplies. Their first day of school will most likely be their first experience with a classroom, as most of them have not attended preschool. I want my classroom to be colorful, fun, inviting, and most of all, well-organized so that we can have a great year!
