Being a new leader, in a new district, I am excited to learn how to be an inspiring and effective literacy coach. I taught for thirteen years in the classroom and am welcoming this change in my career. I need to learn effective coaching practices, grow in leadership, communication and need to be up to date in current literacy instruction practices. I have not held this role before. With the professional development texts requested, I can support my growth and learning as a literacy leader. The texts requested will not only benefit me and enhance my knowledge, but will be shared with colleagues to impact their instruction.
