I teach in an inner city, high poverty area school in Petersburg. I have nineteen students at the age of four and five years old. They are enthusiastic children who are excited to come to school and learn. As a Pre-K teacher, I want to give every opportunity for my students to enhance their fine motor skills and imagination. Some of my students have a very hard living situation and look forward to coming to school and learning. I want to keep that excitement in their life and give them a positive educational experience.
