The texts will be used as a way to engage my students and grow their love for literacy. I will introduce the books as read alouds and students will respond to them. Students will also read the books with a partner and independently. Gaining a new variety of texts will boost my students' excitement about reading as they have the opportunity to enjoy favorites. This project would provide my students with a greater variety of reading choices. Having the additional texts will keep the students engaged in reading as they enjoy classic favorites and create a love for new texts.
