Do remember what it was like to walk into a classroom on the first day of school and see the library full of books that you could not wait to read? I want books that match the reading levels and interests of my students. It is hard to do this as a first year teacher due to limited funds. The students in my class have a variety of different reading levels and interests. It is a hope that the students in my classroom have a love of reading or learn to develop the love of reading that is very important in childhood. These students also come from a variety of backgrounds. The school is very family oriented and involved in the small community which it is a part of. It is my hope that my students will stay engaged while reading these books and carry the many adventures and their love of reading far into the future as they go!
