My students work very hard. While some come ready and prepared, there are some that come to me from struggling backgrounds. They do not always have school supplies, books to read at home, or even the essentials we often take for granted. A large percentage do not have English speakers at home to help them become better readers. They want to succeed and always give 100%. They are children with big dreams and they are ready to take on the world.

About my class
