My students come from economically disadvantaged homes and do not come to school with many of the literacy needs required to succeed in school. Although, they do not come to school with much background knowledge, they do have a love of learning that is instilled in them and fostered daily. They are very inquisitive and curious. My school is low performing, but working hard to make great strides in becoming a higher performing school. It is located in central Ohio and in a very under privileged area. The students love coming to school and hate to leave at the end of the day.
