Music is a very hands-on activity normally taught in class. During our distance learning classes, the use of an instrument at home, especially a wind instrument, could help students understand the music concepts we are learning in class. Students will get to work with their classmates to create a musical collaboration that they otherwise might not have in a distance learning scenario. Currently, students only have what is available to them at home for musical support. Having a recorder at home will also make sure that they don't lose instructional time on the recorder.
