My students are all heart. They wish to create and have great need. Our student body is severely disadvantaged, with more than 90 percent of the population living at or below the poverty line. What they lack for in resources they make up for in spirit. I wish to provide them with the creative outlet they might not have at home, the ability to have control over one aspect of their lives, and express themselves to their fullest potential...and not return home covered in paint.
