My students come from low income families and the majority ride the city bus for over an hour just to come to school everyday simply because their home school is impacted. With that said, resources are limited to the extent that I generally provide paper and pencils in the classroom. Our school staff is a very tight-knit team that cares about the education of our students and understands the needs and dynamics of the students.
