Our district is focusing on fostering a growth mindset in students, and it has really caught on in my classroom. My students really believe there is no limit to their learning. I have a group of very motivated, capable students who I want to see continue to soar this year. As soon as students finish an assignment, they immediately look for other ways to extend their learning. We do this through task cards, project based learning, and through technology. Chromebooks are a hot commodity in my room! Students can’t wait to get their hands on one, and to go to different websites to play games. They are super into using Google Classroom, writing stories, and working on additional projects and learning they have going. We have been able to go really deep into our learning so far this year, and it’s so much fun teaching these students each day!
