The materials in this project will be used on a daily basis to further student learning. We need alphabet teaching tubs, a social studies photo library, color sorting paint cans and other items. Students will use some of these materials for independent practice while others will be used with adult support.
Some students in this classroom need support in building letter/sound relationships. The letter tubs are a great way for students to get hands-on experience with different objects. Some students are working on phonemic awareness and will be able to use the self-checking magnet cards to further their abilities. We have two aides who work with students on a daily basis, and they will be able to use materials to provide direct and explicit interventions.
