Students will be using this listening center during reading workshop. They will be able to follow along to some of their favorite books, while increasing their sight words and becoming better readers! My students are English Language Learners and are below grade level. They have difficultly reading independently for a long period of time, therefore making this listening center an effective tool to help my students succeed. This listening center can help my students move up reading levels and reach their goal of becoming excellent readers. It would make reading more enjoyable for them because they can listen to their favorite books!
