My students are all Hispanic. They come from low income households. Many parents work multiple jobs making it hard for them to work with their children at home. For many of my students they are new to the country and this is their first school experience. Our school is considered economically disadvantaged. We have over 85% of the students receiving free or reduced priced lunch.
