My students are English language learners and students who need additional support in their academics through the Early Intervention Program in grades K-5 in a Title-1 school. They are a wonderful group of kids, and I want to provide them with additional resources to create the best lessons possible for them.
My wonderful ESOL and EIP students need a lot of engaging and visual resources, centers, and lessons to provide a differentiated approach to their learning. Making learning fun and meaningful and finding the resources for such a wide range of grades and learners is critical. I will utilize leveled readers to target students learning levels in guided reading, mentor texts for comprehension and mentor sentences, TPT gifts cards to find center work and resources for a variety of grade levels and topics. The magnetic letters, boards, and expo markers are for word work and other small group centers. The play-doh, writing paper, and letters with visuals will help my kindergarten and first graders with their reading and writing small group instruction in a hands-on and visual way. And finally, the prizes will be for a treasure box to reward students for a job well done!
