English is not my student's first language. Every single one of my students come into to my classroom to learn and improve their English. They are the most eager bunch of learners I have ever met. They come into the classroom excited to learn with a smile on their faces.
School is a place where these kids feel safe. It is a place where they know they are loved. School to these kids, means that they will be fed and have a comfortable place to stay for the day.
My students do not have much at home, so they get excited about the littlest things I am able to provide them with. They are grateful learners and appreciate everything they are given.
