Students will have access on a daily basis to look up common word meaning, alternate word meaning and find examples of words being used in a sentence. Students will be able to use the spelling dictionaries to help them look up words they do not know how to spell, and aide them in learning spelling patterns and tricks. Finally, students will have access to a thesaurus to provide them with alternate word choices to "spice up" their writing. In my experience, when a student has access to up to date resources they are more likely to enjoy the process of using the materials. No student wants to feel like they have been given the "leftovers"! Please help our class with this project!
