I teach Language Arts to 4th and 5th grade students in a multi-level classroom community. Our school is a low income, public Montessori school. We are very fortunate to have a dedicated staff and parent community to fund our educational needs. My students are imaginative and creative learners, who are always looking to explore new technology. I teach a lot of students who have specific educational needs, such as needing text read aloud to them. With the technology, they can complete tasks using the technology for assistance. "The greatest sign of success for a teacher is to be able to say, 'The children are now working as if I do not exist.'" -Maria Montessori
Technology helps my students become independent thinkers and learners and develop 21st century skills.
