The current seating area in our classroom library center is rigid and uncomfortable for some of the students especially ones with sensory difficulties. In order to help my students develop a love and joy for books, I’d like to make our library warm, cozy, and inviting. This couch is the first step in creating a home-like feel for the kiddos to explore the literature of all genres. I want them to smile as they curl up on the couch with a good book and their imagination while they discover their love of reading!
