Our school is in a very low socio-economic area. These students come to school striving to learn all that they can and count on me to do teach them. Because of the location of the school and the disabilities that they have, each one of these students are batting an uphill battle. They each come to school with such a positive attitude despite the hands that they have been dealt. We have a very close knit school community and everyone works together to ensure that everyone is taken care of.
