I work at an amazing elementary school in Queens. At our school we are dedicated to guiding our scholars as they grow and develop, putting them on a successful path for life. The scholars are hard-working, respectful, and they love and appreciate athletics. We have a beautiful gym that they enjoy coming to every time I see them. They are a motivated and intelligent group that is willing to learn new things such as floor hockey. I teach a class that does not exclude any scholars or make them feel like they "can't" do something. I am confident when they leave this program they will remember how much they enjoy physical education and not have bad memories about it. They haven't played much floor hockey over the years here and it's something I'd like to further introduce to them with safer equipment and practice more in the future.
