Many of my students have the wiggles throughout the day, during independent, whole group and small group instruction. They are constantly moving around in their chairs, at times falling out or even knocking their chairs over. This causes them to easily lose focus. Directions have to be repeated several times and disruptions begin to occur. Having flexible seating options will allow my students to wiggle safely, yet maintain their focus at the same time.
