I teach preschool in the inner city. Our school has a 96% poverty level. We are in a diverse community which is reflected in our classroom. 90% of my students are English Language Learners. 7 students are identified with special needs. Our classroom is where learning is fun and hands on while meeting expected state standards. I hope that the students look forward to coming to school each day and become life-long learners that make a positive change in their community.
