I am an ESE teacher at a Title I school. 78.6% of our population receives free and reduced lunch. Despite these challenges, we achieved "A" school status last year. We are one of only five schools and the only Title I school in our district to have achieved Adequate Yearly Progress as outlined by the No Child Left Behind act.
