My students are very diverse and from different backgrounds. The great thing about a STEM class is that some low performing students are given the chance to excel as this class is more of hands-on approach. We also include students from our resource room, with disabilities, in our classroom. These students look forward to class and are willing to put in the hard work that is required to be successful in engineering or whatever else the future might bring for them.
