Our student population is about 50% military. We are the smallest of 8 high schools in our district. We're a great mixture of local kids and kids that have been around the world at different bases. Unfortunately, we struggle in most sports but have ranked high in our scholastic achievements. I have a class of mostly juniors and seniors that are strongly leaning towards a career in medicine. They are eager to learn and have rich hands-on learning experiences. I want to keep that intense desire to learn anatomy & physiology alive with dissection kits. I have about 2 girls for every 1 boy in class with a great combination of kids of every ethnic background. This group possesses many talents and I want to challenge them with multi-day dissection labs.
