This field trip will make a difference in my students learning by providing them a hands-on experince with animals that they do not see or experienced in their community. Also, it will help them to develop new vocabulary words such as Stingrays, the different species of reptiles, and more. They will also learn how each animal has a purpose on earth and how to care for and respect the animals. We will practice counting, classifying, and comparing how animals live and eat. When we return to school, the students will share what they experienced in their journals and by drawing what animal they liked best about the field trip.
