Granada High School is located in Livermore, CA in the East Bay of the San Francisco region. My program is part of the Special Education department and I teach U.S. History, Civics, Economics, Health and Geography. It is a very delightful place to teach because the kiddos are eager to learn, but are frustrated that technology is limited for their use. We used to have computers in the classroom but they became so out-dated they couldn't run the current operating systems. Now we have none. My goal is to eventually get a classroom set (15) tablets with keyboards so that each student will have control of their own exploration of the wide wonderful world of history to supplement what I've exposed them to.
