My students are ages 14-18 with various disabilities. Most have autism and other developmental disorders. There is a lack of technology in the classroom due to items being so expensive and using most or all of a teachers small budget. My students love technology and thrive utilizing the small amount we have in the classroom. They enjoy when I use my personal pad for lessons, which has a broken screen. They retain more from a lesson when it is visual and interactive. And that's what the pad can provide for them. I have 12 students and all of them would benefit from the technology being implemented into their classroom.
