We are Title I school so students and parents do not have the same resources as others. Yet like all students my students love to be exposed to the same experiences as all kids their age. My kids love to find out about other countries and cultures as well as things that are happening in their own country. We have a large percentage of Hispanic students who enjoy nothing more than sharing their culture with others. My students work well together, encourage one another and form lasting relationships with their teachers and friends. I give my students choices about what they want to learn about and the more they learn the more they want to learn. We are a small school and the students, parents and staff have a culture of doing what is needed to create positive learned students going into the future.
