As 21st Century Learners, my students require their own set of headphones that do not need to be shared. In their homes, very few of my students have any technology and yet they love to learn in this way. We are in need of headphones to use with our Chromebooks in class. These headphones will allow them to learn in a fun, enjoyable way while staying engaged. New headphones will also help my students concentrate. Our current headphones are falling apart and many only work on one, side which is frustrating for 6 and 7 year olds.
In this time of Distance Learning, I sent home my personal set of whiteboards with my students to enhance their learning. My future first graders will need a new set of whiteboards to replace those I sent home as we will use them throughout the day to practice, review, and extend our learning.
My future first graders will also need their own pencil boxes to hold their personal supplies. In the past we have shared our supplies in a caddy at their table. In this time of Covid 19, the sharing of supplies is no more and each will need a place to keep their own supplies.
