I teach in an urban neighborhood with a diverse school community. Our school is a neighborhood school as well as a partial magnet school. This means our students come from our downtown neighborhood as well as from other places around our district As part of our magnet status our school is an International Baccalaureate school which means that we focus on building students' confidence in their learning with a focus on inquiry skills and a global perspective.
