Our school is located on a military base in the southwest part of the country . Our students are classified as high poverty. All of my students have at least one parent and sometimes both parents that serve in the military. I have the honor of being their first experience with school and learning and I believe it's my job to provide them with as many opportunities as possible to experience things that they may not get to do outside of a classroom setting.
