I teach sixth grade in a small, rural school district in Western Pennsylvania. We graduate about 100 students a year. A majority of my students receive free or reduced lunches. Though this small town boasts strong community ties, the lower income families of this area are often unable to provide technology resources for their children. Our district itself is also experiencing financial hardships and is not always able to provide the students with up-to-date technology.
