I have amazing students. They are bright, talented, and many times bored by school. They often find grade level material too easy and quickly get complacent. My students tend to be perfectionistic and have difficulty with risk taking. They thrive when given opportunities to take risks in a safe environment with guidance and support. They love any time of STEM learning and need more opportunities for hands on real world problem solving. I have made it a personal goal to provide more STEM lessons in my classroom in an effort to get my girls interested in science and math. The Lego EV3 robot and software gives students the opportunity to take ownership of the learning process.
