I am a kindergarten teacher at a neighborhood school in Chicago. Our classroom has 23 boys and girls who are eager to learn and explore new things. I strive to create a strong community of learners who see that learning can be fun and rewarding. Our classroom is very diverse with many different types of learners. As a teacher I have brought in a variety of strategies and tools to use to help reach each one of the students needs. The students in my classroom are hard workers who, although may not have it all, do have all the spirit to push themselves to learn and grow.
