Welcome! This classroom is filled with 32 energetic students! These students look forward to school each day, eager to learn, and express themselves. I am looking for a way to motivate my students to learn to type and practice using technology in a way that harnesses their background knowledge but also challenges them to go beyond. Many students are familiar with iPads but have not developed skills to help them type using proper typing practices. Without these keyboards and stands, students practice bad posture and use only two fingers to hit the screen. This can turn many students off from using the technology we have. With the help of these keyboards and stands students can develop typing skills while have good posture allowing them to push themselves for more. These iPad components would help these students become more successful and enhance their academic skills.
