Sophomore English students vary greatly in their abilities and come from many different backgrounds. It is a required class, so some times the interest in the subject isn't there. I am trying to connect to my students and create a sense of community in my classroom and school while teaching them a life skill. Many of my students have never addressed an envelope or written a letter.
