My students are in fifth grade. It is their last year in elementary school. They are diverse ethnically, linguistically and economically. They enjoy reading and are excited about all of the books available in our classroom. They are readers who just want to find just right books and a comfortable place to read. We have created spaces with pillows and relaxing chairs. We have begun reader's notebooks to write about their reading. We have started reading amazing books. Our school and especially our classroom is a community of learners. We are just looking for ways to create a more usable classroom library.
