My active first graders love to sing, dance, read stories, and LEARN while sitting on the carpet. These students are part of a Title One school. Many of our students come from poverty stricken homes. We also have a large number of second language learners. Even with Title One funding, we still have needs for classrooms that cannot be met with our current budget. We feel that our students deserve the best learning environment possible.
