I have 32 wonderful 4th grade students. Our school is in a low income area of San Diego. All of our students get free breakfast and free lunch. They have a lot of energy and love coming to school. They enjoy playing outside and can't wait to get out to recess to kick a soccer ball around. I want them to have that same excitement when it comes to reading.
