My school was established in the late 50s. My students come from different backgrounds. I have students with various social, economic, and learning needs and/or challenges. Some students have been in this country for less than a year. Some come from a broken family.
However, there is one student in particular who I feel needs my love and attention the most. This student has not seen the mother for over a year and lives with one grandparent. This student feels rejected by the only parent available. My goal is to prepare these students for their future. I want to create a beautiful classroom library for them since we lost our librarian and are not getting another one due to budget cuts. Our school media center is unavailable, so I want to bring the library to my classroom. I feel my students will be more motivated to read and create a loving memory for life!
About my class
