My students are discovering their love for fictional literature and they are allowing their imaginations to take them to places they have never been before. Please help me keep their minds open to a new world.
My students come from a low socioeconomic area. They do not have access to their own personal devices to research and read books online. In a world of technology comes money. Money my student's families do not have. Our school is limited in funding and simply doesn't have money to provide technology to their hands. When my students enter the classroom they can't wait to see what the world has to offer them. They have discovered a world of creativity and imagination through the words in fictional novels and have developed a passion for solving real world problems through technology.
