I am asking for a subscription for each of my students to the magazine Time for Kids to expose them to real-world current events tailored to them. They often hear the news and question what is going on because they have limited understanding. This type of authentic journalism will help feed the natural curiosity that my students have with everyday happenings on a level that is appropriate for them. This subscription will help improve my students' understanding and comprehension of what is going on in the world around them. Knowing and understanding what is happening around us will hopefully help my students to grow into well informed individuals that care about our world.

About my class
