My students are eighth grade special education students in downtown Indianapolis. Our school is a science, technology, engineering and mathematics magnet school effectively serving students who live in high poverty households. Ninety percent of our students receive free or reduced lunch. Through innovative programs, we are showing some of the most rapid growth in the state as measured by standardized test score improvement.
